Description
Recorded with esteemed producer James Kenosha (Marmozets), the new single by TDN is an absolute belter. At just under three minutes long, it never lets up it's rampant flurry of ballsy chaotic punk that will twist and contort itself into your head.
Notes
Bursting out of Essex, The Dropper’s Neck are back to spread their seed to the UK armed with their spanking new video single ‘Line Me Up For The Firing Squad’, which is set for national release on Monday 11th August.
Pulling from both Gallows and Queens Of The Stone Age, but with a warm affinity for Pulled Apart By Horses and Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, The Dropper’s Neck blend engaging hooks and riffery with forebodingly chaotic energy and raw intensity; the end result is immensely absorbing.
The Dropper’s Neck’s climb has been notable and impressive. The band have a strong DIY ethos and have built up a legion of followers by delivering a barrage of high octane shows throughout the South and beyond. The five-some’s recording output is also noteworthy. Last year’s debut album ‘Second Coming’, recorded by producer Paul Tipler (Placebo & Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster), garnered extensive national praise from everyone from Classic Rock and Kerrang! through to Big Cheese Magazine.
The Dropper’s Neck now stride forward with a UK tour and new video single entitled ‘Line Me Up For The Firing Squad’. Recorded with esteemed producer James Kenosha (Marmozets/Pulled Apart By Horses) in May 2014 – It’s an absolute belter, the new single is just under three minutes long and it never lets up. The cut is a rampant flurry of ballsy garage punk that will twist and contort itself into your head. With a plethora of shows in the pipeline to support the single, everything is stacked into place for the gory rocksters to shoot up the ranks of the UK scene.
