Description
This CD is all over the map It has elements of rock, funk, jazz, pop and hearty helping of foot stompin bluegrass. Its a truly entertaining collection of songs and bits of old stuff I dredged up from the archives at the studio. Enjoy.
Notes
This CD is mostly a compilation of songs that Ryan and Tom wrote way back in the beginning of the studio that I never got around to publishing (musicians!) So, I gathered them up and added some of the more noteable free jams in the studio from the archives to round out a whole CD.
In the beginning it was Just Ryan and I plugging away at building a studio mastered CD and then all hell broke loose. Several people came and went through the doors and we lost track of our original goal...to finish ONE whole CD! This is all the finished songs we had before the whole thing flew apart after I almost croaked.
Rather than let the songs die on the vine and just sit uselessly on my hard drives I figured I would dust them off and add enough other GOOD stuff to make something marketable...hence this CD and its sister publication "Studio Jams" released at the same time. Through all the tumult, there were a core of five of us that did the bulk of the playing over the time we were together. It is from the files of those jams that all of the other stuff on this and the other CD came from.
As these things go in the land of music and musicians, the band in all its various flavors eventually splintered and everyone has since gone on to other things. I could not let the stuff just evaporate, so I made couple CD's out of all the hundreds of files I have cloistered on my archive computer. I hope you enjoy listening to them, as much as we enjoyed making them.
