Description
Progressive Crossover Prog as it's best from the heads of Flaming Row & Toxic Smile.
Notes
seven steps to the green door are back with its 4th album, which is a most convincing successor to 2011 concept al-bum „THE?BOOK“ which received rave reviews and amazing feedbacks from fans of progressive crossover / rock music.
The band around Marek Arnold (Toxic Smile, UPF, Cyril, Flaming Row) and Ulf Reinhardt again convinces with a new sound and exciting stylistic variety, offering 8 songs from 7 to 16 minutes, retaining the typical trademark of the band to combine catchy melodies and sophisticated polyrhythmical structures.
A great addition to the line up is new guitar player Martin Schnella (Flaming Row), giving the album an even more powerful sound and complex vocal arrangements.
Alongside the distinctive voices of Lars Köhler and Anne Trautmann 8 additional singers ( i.e. Arno Menses / Sub-signal ) and a lot of magnificent guest players like Steve Unruh ( UPF ) and Dan Mash (UPF, Ex- The Tangent, Mas-chine ) are giving the album an unique sound.
