Description

This intense fusion of Classic Rock and early 90's Alternative packs a powerful live punch, with thundering drums, thick guitars, melodic bass-lines, soaring vocals and deep, compelling lyrics.

Notes

The Days In Between have managed to create something that is rare in the LA Music scene; a potent sound that is inherently full, commercially accessible, charismatic--and simply put--their own. Drawing influence from a diverse list of bands (Pearl Jam, The Who, Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, The Pixies, Neil Young, and more), the Days consistently bring an infectious energy to the stage, converting even the casual rock listener into a fan.

Formed originally in late 2001, the Days independently recorded their first full-length album, "Drift" and soon exploded onto the underground Southern California music scene. Their emotionally charged performances and impressive draw have enabled the Days In Between to develop ongoing relationships with a number of popular venues such as: The Whisky A-Go-Go, Club Lingerie, Spaceland, The Sunset Room, The Cat Club, The Derby, The Ventura Theatre, and more.

Equally inspiring is the Days' passion and energy off-stage for a growing list of causes. With a lengthy resume of charity events under their belt, one finds in the Days In Between a band that practices what it preaches. The Days were selected by Marymount Records to contribute a track to the label's compilation, which benefits Medicine for Humanity and the Special Games. They have also performed live at the American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life" for the last two years. The Days recently teamed up with "Team In Training" to host a benefit show and local artist showcase which raised approximately $1200 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They also recently entered a partnership with Rock the Vote to register fans online.

Since its release in February 2004, the Days latest EP, No $ale, has sold over 600 copies, and is now in regular rotation on several college and internet radio stations. The Days have topped the grunge, classic rock, and alternative charts on purevolume.com, recently hit over 10,000 listens on the site, and have been chosen as one of the site's top unsigned acts. They were also chosen as finalist for Toronto's Indie Week Showcase in August of 2004, and will be apearing at Indie911.com's local band showcase at the Viper Room (Hollywood CA) in October of 2004. The Days hope to be back in the studio in the Fall, and are planning a subsequent West Coast tour.
