El Cant Dels Ocells

The Flight of The Bird is, in a simple sentence, an ambitious and successful attempt to satisfy the artistic voracity. It is not just a story with an air of innocence, but a vivid and multi-sonorous experience through music that represent all the five continents of our planet, inviting the listener to a sensory game where the ears become eyes visualizing the landscapes through which Hirunda, our swallow, passes.
The protagonist of this story is the cello and its noble sound; but if we try to classify this production as a classical music album it wouldn’t be entirely accurate, this because of the new of its proposal and the particular use of various musical elements, which are combined together to pleasantly surprise the sensitivity of the listener.
To tell this story, the instrumentation used is far in its format from orchestral works such as Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev or Britten’s Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, but making use of simple textures by selecting instruments with such a contrasting timbres we achieved to deliver the artistic message effectively.
During the recording process we dived into new challenges, having a great time playing instruments like castanets, wood block, maracas, drum tar or playing pizzicato on a soprano viola from the Renaissance period. The creative spirit of Georgina and her taste for a well done job completely match with the vision of the project since its inception. This production definitely marks a milestone in our artistic careers, where Love has always been a constant and peace our flag and truth.

El Vuelo del Pájaro es, en una sencilla frase, un ambicioso y acertado intento de satisfacer la voracidad artística. No es tan sólo una historia con visos de inocencia, sino una vívida y multisonora experiencia a través de músicas que representan lugares de los cinco continentes de nuestro planeta, y que invitan al oyente a un juego sensorial, donde los oídos se convierten en ojos que visualizan los paisajes por donde va pasando Hirunda, nuestra golondrina.
El protagonista de esta historia es el violoncello y su noble sonido; pero si intentamos clasificar esta producción como un álbum de música clásica no sería del todo preciso, esto debido a lo novedoso de su propuesta y al uso particular de variados elementos musicales, que se conjugan entre sí para sorprender gratamente la sensibilidad del oyente.
Para contar esta historia, la instrumentación usada dista mucho en formato de las orquestales obras Pedro y el Lobo de Prokofiev o la Guía para Orquesta de Britten, pero al economizar texturas usando instrumentos de timbres sonoros tan contrastantes, se logra hacer llegar el mensaje artístico con igual efectividad
Durante el proceso de grabación nos sumergimos en nuevos retos, pasándolo en grande tocando instrumentos como castañuelas, caja china, maracas, tambor tar o pizzicati en una viola soprano del Renacimiento. El espíritu creador de Georgina y su gusto por las cosas bien hechas compaginó totalmente con la visión del proyecto desde sus inicios. Esta producción marca sin duda un hito en nuestras carreras artísticas, donde el Amor ha sido siempre la constante y la paz nuestra bandera y verdad.
