TAT’s musicians, based in Germany and the USA, regularly let musical ideas cross the Atlantic Ocean. The transatlantic telephone cables, known as “TAT”, make it possible to shoot over a guitar solo from Germany in no time at all. Therefore the musicians can collaborate across a distance of almost 8000km, combining diverse stylistic influences and impressions. Jonathan and Malwin, who met each other through musical projects in Hamburg, are running TAT Project since 2011. Together with musicians from different countries, new pieces are continuously produced and published on tat-project.com.
