Marlene Tachoir - Tales of Emotions - Review by Ron Wynn in Nashville City Paper - " Pianist Marlene Tachoir may be Nashville's least publicized outstanding composer, although her reputation and skills have been highly praised and critically acclaimed nationally and internationally. Tachoir, who is also an accomplished vocalist as well as a fine pianist, has been the primary composer for several years in the Group Tachoir with husband and vibist/percussionist Jerry Tachoir. She's a past two-time winner of the international jazz omposition contest in Monaco, and won the Golbal Music Network award for best jazz composer unanimously in 2000."
This project is a collection of creative inspirational piano compositions that Marlene has compiled over the years that perhaps didn't fit into the Group Tachoir concept but deserves an outlet. This is a very soothing project and one that should be in every collection.
