Description

Dance-worthy rock 'n' roll reunited with the piano, punctual and melodic bass lines, infectiously subliminal percussive insanity, humbly ostentatious guitar riffs, with lush and soulful electric ukulele.

Notes

It wasn't until a moment, a spark of curiosity, swept over them that four every-day musicians became four empathetic, energetic daredevil-dance-rock machines. What would happen if everyone who saw a concert left smiling? If a band starts dancing, will the audience feel compelled to dance harder? And just like their anthem "We Can Do It" was all-but-improvised, SuperHouse lives and dies by the mantra that incredible things can happen at any moment.

SuperHouse was formed in late 2006 by a group of good friends that had pursued several other artistic endeavors together, and had known each other since their high-school days. They came together over a shared love of good music, and by good music they mean: Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Little Richard, The Clash, The Misfits, The Talking Heads, Devo, Of Montreal, The Unicorns, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc, etc.

They quickly gained a devoted following in their hometown of Austin, TX, playing 60 some odd shows and venturing out on numerous occasions in their first year of existence (including shows in Houston, Alice, and Santa Fe, NM). They became well known for their highly energetic live-shows, ridiculous wardrobe decisions, and enjoyably danceable, rockingly heart-pounding music. They've played for a variety of audiences, including hardcore bikers (Republic of Texas Rally), elementary school children (Widen Elementary), and middle-aged quasi-conservatives (Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo). Bars, clubs, parks, barbeques, houses, coffee shops, and studios have all been home to their music.

In November 2007, they were featured on the Bobby Bones radio show on KISS-FM in their hometown of Austin. They also travelled to New Mexico to play a gig at the prestigious College of Santa Fe.

Their debut album "Friends Forever, Fighting Together" - recorded mostly at the Ronald McDonald House in San Antonio - was released on November 24th, 2007.

They started off 2008 as a featured band on local Fox 7 News in Austin. Work on another CD has already begun and is currently slated for May.
