So much to the music we hear today is all about breaking up and making up. "Pray" is not about the perils and joys of relationships but rather the life-giving relationship one can have with God. I don't know about you, but when I pray I feel that I can move mountains! I feel there is nothing stopping me from doing my hearts desire, because I know that it is God's desire as well. This what "Pray" is all about, listening to the call of God in my heart and following it.
Each song on this album has a story to tell, take "Run To You" as an example. The story of the woman (or man) walking along the beach and seeing and being told by Jesus that they are His footprints as He has been carrying and protecting her. What a powerful story! "Run To You" is about the time in my life when someone I dearly love showed me how to turn to God when all else seems hopeless. "Children Of God" is similar, only it gives us permission to go out and be the change we want to see in the world.
