I'll Be Coming Home is a collection of feel-good, honest songs from the soul. SteppingSTONE Band is an original rock band from North Jersey where interstate 80 runs from the big city to the rolling hills and glimmering lakes of the northwestern counties. Like sitting in traffic at 5:00 there are no short cuts home, and musically that’s the road they've traveled.
After playing in a number of different bands over the years, the members of SteppingSTONE found “home” after ...blending creative words, situations, sounds and experiences through music; a mix of storytelling, blues, soul and rock n’ roll and driven by an eclectic mix of voices the band continues to pick up steam and as it gigs regularly around the North Jersey/ New York area. Yet still looking to widen their bounds so that their rich blend of melody, soulful stories and infectious rhythms can be heard and felt.
SteppingSTONE continues to create new material while covering renditions of the songs that made us all fall in love with music in the first place. The band's sound and influences consist of Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, U2, The Beatles, Dave Matthews, Van Morrison and too many other names that would fill this page. Fans are drawn into the music as the Band's sound and songs have something that appeals to everyone.
