Founded in 1997, the band took the name ALETHEIAN in 2003 after releasing a full-length in 2001 under the name CRUTCH. Combining elements of technical, progressive, European, and melodic metal; ALETHEIAN hopes to bring a fresh sound and a positive message to a dark, dry scene.
