Reading band bios is typically an exercise in cynicism. The bio says one thing, but the music usually says another.
Stranded Conqueror is that most revealing of entities – the one man band. This 6 song EP sounds as grand-scaled, accomplished and melodically trustworthy as any post-My Bloody Valentine shoegaze or Indie/Alternative Rock quartet worth their plectra. A respectable singer, a great all-round player and some sweet tunes render the ‘Conqueror a lone-wolf success story.
