Description
The final part of Tannhauser Orchestra's 'Venus Trilogy'
Notes
‘Veneralia’ is Tannhauser Orchestra’s fifth album and the final installment in the band’s ‘Venus’ trilogy. Like its predecessors ‘The House of Sleep’ and ‘Her Mountain’, ‘Veneralia’ was recorded at MARS, Murphy Albums’ in-house studio. On a songwriting level, the album marks a return to the band’s poppier early days while retaining the heavy, noisy sound it has developed in recent years. Originally intended as a double album, ‘Veneralia’ was eventually pared down to the nine songs you are listening to. Singles ‘The Listening Dark’, ‘Feel the Need’ and ‘Rainbow Road’ will be released in the Fall of 2015.
