Break Me Free is the debut album of Canadian Metal/Rock band Eternal Rising. The band was formed in early 2008 and on this album consists of three members, Cecil: Vocals/Guitar, Chad: Bass/Vocals and Taylor: Drums. Rising from the demise of several previous bands Eternal Rising came together in search of something new. On Break Me Free you will hear a unique combination of metal infused with other genres, elements and song structures coming from the Rock/Pop world and noticeable Punk Rock roots. The bands goal with this approach to music was to play a heavyier powerful style but being appealible to a wide variety of music listeners. This album has a lot of very melodic elements, catchy choruses and many different types of vocals styles ranging from the high falsetto to the gutteral scream.
