Drazy Hoops is an independent artist/musician who has released 8 full length albums starting with 1998's "Straight To Black" (Shimmydisc/Knitting Factory Records) to 2013's "This Is The Sound Of..." (Slow Burn Records NYC). A compilation of songs from Drazy's first 3 records called A World Away (First Flight Records) was released in Australia and New Zealand in 2003 and Drazy's music has appeared in various movies and compilations through the years. The name Drazy Hoops comes from the late, great Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band and more specifically the song The Blimp (mousetrapreplica) off of the seminal Trout Mask Replica album.
