Description
Somewhere between folkpop, indie rock and alt-country, songs about love, breakups, liars and cheats, mental illness, housing shortages, and even a best-selling novel.
Notes
Hunters. is a San Francisco alt-folk band.
We’ve just finished our second album, Treeline.
It’s about love and breakups and liars and cheats and mental illness and housing shortages and we even have a song about a best selling novel on there.
In the past, indie music bloggers have said stuff like this about us:
“Their brand of folk music is second to none!” -- It’s All Indie
“If you’re a fan of alt-country you’re going to fall in love with this. It’s likely that it will be your best friend on your next big road trip.” -- We all Want Someone to Shout For
“The strength of hunters. is the interplay between easygoing alt-country vibes and the impressively descriptive lyrics.” -- Independent Clauses
But we think you should decide for yourself.
Treeline features:
Rosa del Duca – vocals, percussion
Will Decher – guitar, resonator, glockenspiel, mandolin, quatro, banjo, percussion
Roy Felley – bass
Lucy Giraldo – violin, cello, viola
Arron Creechley – drums
John Maurer – bongo, conga, percussion
Words by Rosa del Duca. Music by Rosa del Duca & Will Decher. Recorded, engineered and mixed by Mike Carnahan, CarnyMusic Recording. Produced by Mike Carnahan, Rosa del Duca, Will Decher. Mastered by Eric Moffat. Special thanks to Nicholas Leither for his support/patience & directorial/photo skills, Courtney Blazon for her amazing art, and Arron Creechley for stepping up to the plate once again.
