EWP blends elements of Rock, Country, Blues, Funk, and Jam music into one unique sound. The creative work of three aspiring young musicians living in the south singing about life, growing up, and finding yourself.
Notes
EggWater Palace was born from the creative musings of Tanner Strickland (Nashville, GA). After many years of playing solo acoustic performances and writing for himself, Tanner met Dennis Mikell (Port Charlotte, FL) and Tom Milner (Valdosta, GA) and began to broaden his horizons in the form of a full band. All three members of the band write and contribute material for the music they perform and this lends itself to their unique sound and dynamic. EWP puts no restrictions on their range of musical topics or sounds; if the soul can feel it, or it has to do with life or living, it is fair game. The band is inspired by the originators of southern rock, country, and jam music. Groups like The Allmann Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, and many other staple rock bands of the South lend elements to EggWater Palace. This 6-song EP was recorded live in the studio (not tracked) to capture some of the rawness of their live performances.
