"Between The Arches" is a 2012 release from Irish born Eamon O'Tuama. The NYC based singer/songwriter has released 3 previous solo albums which are also available on CD Baby. O'Tuama's music is a passionate mixture of introspective lyrics with catchy hooks and a strong Irish influence. Between The Arches contains 9 brand new tracks dealing with themes of love, loss, hope and forgiveness.
In 1996 O'Tuama released the much lauded "Down With A Smile" on the Irish CBM label. The CD featured artists such as Win Horan and Seamus Egan from SOlas and was produced by Greg Anderson of Whirligig. In 2001 The Eamon O'Tuama band recorded "Behind Every Life" and received national critical acclaim for the 12 song disc of high energy Irish rock songs. This was followed by the release of the 6 song CD "Strong Believer's Crashing" in 2004.
From 2003 to 2008 Eamon O'Tuama brought his music to the New York based Irish rockers, The Prodigals. O'Tuama was a vocalist/guitarist with the popular group, performing over 150 shows a year across the United States and Europe. O'Tuama recorded two albums with the band, "Beachland Bootleg" and "Momentum".
In 2009 Eamon O'Tuama was part of a National Geographic documentary "The Human Family Tree". The song "Run" from "Between The Arches" was featured in the documentary which continues to air worldwide.
Between The Arches features guest performances from ex-Prodigals, Ed Kollar, Chris Higginbottom, Eamon Ellams and Dustin Rohrer along with Justin Russo of the Silent League.
The album was produced with Eamon Ellams.
