Description
A compilation of my original music and a remake of a classic OPM (Original Pilipino Music). This album was recorded in 2001.
Notes
I am a singer/songwriter. I recorded most of the songs on this album back in the early 90's. I re recorded them in 2000 and finished this album in 2001. All the songs in the album are original and written by me except for Usahay. Usahay is a classic Visayan song that has many recorded versions. My version of this song has R&B soul twist to it. My very first original composition, My Everything is also included here. Just Like You and Me was my entry to the Midnight Sun Song Festival in Lahti, Finland, 1992. It won the Bronze Medal in the songwriting category. The backup vocals in the album were done by some members of a very well known singing group in the Philippines called, The Company. The violin track on Love Is The Answer was played by a very talented Filipino violinist, Jay Cayuca. Original arrangers were Alex Mabatid and Victor Oria (early 90's). The arranger of all music for the recording of this album was Jon Jon Castaneda.
