Evan Riley is a singer-songwriter from the Midwest. His debut album "RELEASE" is all about letting go in a world on constant worry and change. You could classify his debut album "RELEASE" as being a blend of Pearl Jam, Dave, Matthews and Glen Hansard but in reality it has it's own unique sound. In the words of Todd Thompson (drummer for RELEASE), "It's good. Music is too tied up in labels these days. Evan's songs have shades of so many musicians in so many genres--heck, one song goes from pop to country to reggae and another goes from Supertramp to Yes--that it really needs to be left at...it's good.
