Description

Rise on the wings of 60's-70's rock style music to enjoy a panoramic view of the Apocalypse.

Notes

D'Richelieu du Plessis, known by his family and friends as Ricky, has been involved with music since birth as he was born into a musical family. His music style was influenced primarily by the the psychedelic, rock and Folk genre's of the 60's and &70's

Ricky's true love manifests as a singer/songwriter who gathers from his experiences "things old" and mixes them with "things new" creating original works which hopefully are suited to a mix of tastes?!?!?

About "Taste Of Heaven" -
Ricky's fascination with the Apocalyptic Scriptures, as recorded in the Revelation of John, began by his owning an album by Aphrodites Child titled "666" and was further fueled when he was drafted into the army and was handed a Gideon’s Living New Testament, (Pocket Bible); Which he held dear to himself, even as he would a personal friend. Of all the pages of this “big little book” the prophetic value within these pages enthralled him the most, so much so, that he was propelled to create the 15 songs found within this album titled, "Taste Of Heaven". As he read the Apocalyptic Scriptures his eyes were opened to the reality that everything in heaven has a significant voice, the creatures, the altar, the throne, the angels,…. Literally everything!! Plus, there was an undeniable link between heaven and earth, even to things under the earth. The significance of all these voices prophesying, making declaration, or praising were the voices which led Ricky to put music to some of these words, whether spoken or sung, and to declare the visual aspects of the heavenly realms in simple musical terms. They have been put together to be a blessing to the one who keeps looking forward and upward to see if you can count the stars, or, at least take a shot at it.

Please take time to listen to the album throughout - It builds from beginning to end. You will be blessed.

Thanks for Listening, and participating in eternal reality.
