Drifter is the sound of a razor blade tornado ripping through your house and tearing up everything in its path. Breaking the genre by taking the lion that is thrash and conducting into a hardcore/metal fashion. Drifter is here to step into the game and make sure that when you leave one of their shows it's something that you've never experienced before.
Being said to be one the best local acts around the Toms River area Drifter is taking over like a plague. Their stage presence and energy makes the crowd feel like they're in a bar fight till the death. Drifter is the synthesis of thrash experimental rock band The Chariot fused with skull crushing break downs and mind blending riffs of highly beloved Bring Me the Horizon, The Bled, and Every Time I Die .
To kick off the year they recently released their EP "In Search of Something More" on Super Bowl Sunday of 2013 and just within the month of May released a music video for their single "Vigil" which reached over 1000 views in just 2 days!
