Description

Elsetime is an album about the Bible, its stories, key figures, impact today and message. Catchy original melodies.

Notes

Elsetime is a musical journey from Genesis to Revelation (and today) about the Bible. Elsetime, the first song, was written in 1965 and at that time, I coined the word elsetime as the title. Psalm 150 is generally about the message of the book of Psalms and the chorus particularly about Psalm 150. Exodus is as the title implies, is about the Israelites leaving Egypt. There`s A Plan has an appearance by my friend and grandson Calixto Rodriguez to add life to the stories of the Garden of Eden, The Red Sea and Jericho. A Strong And Gentle Man describes the power and gentleness of Christ. The thunderclaps in Angel Of Light are used with permission from R. Humphries at Freesound. The Shepherd`s Song is an image collage of the time leading up to the crucifixion. At the end of the day was written after the death of my father in 1991 . Through Eternity is a gospel song done to a Latin beat and should improve your mood any time you listen.
The Magic Camera is about the journey of the first fruits - those who are first to be called. There Will Be No Sorrow describes the emotions of the Christian hope in a sweeping melodic style. Seeds In The Universe is about the creation of the universe and the seeding of life in it.
My daughter Tamara Rawnsley recorded the songs with me and together we are Elsetime Melodies.
