Notes
This is Edward's first album, a compilation of his work spanning 10 years of composition. Starting when he was 13 years old, Edward acquired some basic knowledge of writing music, and as he grew and became more experienced and influenced, he tried his own hand. In Short stems from many different styles that he has listened to, yet they all run with the common theme of simplicity. From the heavier rock of Smoke to the playful strings of In Short, this album showcases a few different genres of music, all in its simplest form. Other tracks are filled with lush orchestration for a full sound that will fill your imagination with senses of soaring and peacefulness. That's the in short of Edward's album, In Short.
Born and raised in the burbs of New Jersey, it is tough to come by the quiet inspiration to write many of the pieces on here, but the experiences of the area on the outskirts of Philadelphia have offered enough--a warm Winter Rain from what used to be snow, The Point of land jutting out of the inlet from Point Pleasant, or driving Out of the Night of the city back to his abode. He listens to the music of any situation and finds inspiration therein. Edward spent many nights contemplating each and every note on this album in his studio, and now presents himself to you, through his music.
