This album tells the story of going through a very painful breakup and its different stages. "Después del Uno" means "After the One" referring to the artist's first love. This album was nominated for 6 ACAM Awards (Costa Rican Grammy equivalent), being the most nominated artist of the year. The nominations included: Producer of the Year (won), Pop Composer of the Year (won), Engineer of the Year (won), Revelation of the Year, Most International Projection of the Year, and Arranger of the Year.
