Notes
"Rejoice!" is the debut recording by Adrian Edgecombe & the Bahamas Harvest Church Choir offering the listener an urban mix of Caribbean sounds such as Reggae, Calypso & Junkanoo fused with Contemporary R&B and Hip Hop.
The CD also attracts the worshipper with its collection of powerful worship songs such as "Jesus, Jesus", "We Lift Our Hands" and "The Praise Song".
The Bahamian favorite "Lord I Love You" topped the Bahamian Gospel Music charts for several months and received a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2005 Cacique Awards, an award show sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism in the Bahamas.
Other radio hits include the reggae sensational and crowd pleaser "The Lord is Good", and the Junkanoo track "Sing With a Mighty Voice".
In 2006 the Choir was nominated for ten (10) Caribbean Gospel Marlin Awards, including Album and Song of the Year, and won the Marlin Award for Praise & Worship Recording of the Year for the song "We Lift Our Hands".
The Bahamas Harvest Church choir was formed in 2001 and consists of energetic and divine psalmists and worshippers.
Adrian Edgecombe, who is the Minister of Music at Bahamas Harvest Church, is a four time Caribbean Gospel Marlin Award Winner and a two time winner of Gospel Music Association (GMA)'s Song of the Year. The live recording was produced by multi-Marlin award winner Devon Rolle and was engineered by Grammy award winner Glen Barrett who has engineered for Vicky Winans, Richard Smallwood and Shirley Caesar.
