Notes
“This chick plays guitar better than most guys out there today” –Steve Ward, Fallen Magazine.
Throughout the 1990s, Electric Poem created a following by performing in the clubs of the Southeastern United States. Over the years, the band released several EPs. As their reputation grew, they found themselves the subject of newspaper and magazine articles, began to receive regional radio play and performed on television. In December of 2000, Electric Poem released their first full length CD, "The Crystal Mind."
"The Crystal Mind," is a mix of dark, somber lyrics and emotional music with a vintage sound. Electric Poem is often compared to The Cult, The Smiths, David Bowie, The Doors & Billy Idol. The poetic lyrics talk of the pain and frustrations of love. After selling out of the first pressing, a new pressing was issued in March of 2004.
