Everything (Live)

ON EARTH AS IN HEAVEN is "adoring", "soaking" music - perfect for those looking for music to accompany them in a quiet, reflective time spent with God, where the lyrics lift thought and mind to His Way and engrave His Truth on the listener's heart. The songs are played in a prophetic style, which means the playing is Holy Spirit led. Each time, the artist plays these songs live, they are slightly different. Sometimes there is a lingering on one phrase of the lyrics; sometimes there is a lingering on another. Sometimes there is more played instrumentally and sometimes less.

ON EARTH AS IN HEAVEN is a recording of some of the songs I have been playing and singing live at various venues including devotional worship sets at East Bay Prayer Furnace (formerly International House of Prayer East Bay and part of the worldwide 24/7 prayer room movement) and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church during adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

The miracle to me of this recording is that when I began seeking to obey God's call to adore Him musically "live", I couldn't play piano well enough to put a finger to a key in public. Yet this album presents some of "adoring" music, which I have been playing and singing live every week since 2008. It is a testimony to the power of prayer and the Lord's reward for stepping out in faith to obey.

I so desperately wanted to be part of the East Bay Prayer Furnace which was beginning in our area. I believe in the power of worship - or rather the power of God's promised response when we worship Him. However, I could not play live. A very anointed pastor and member of the East Bay Prayer Furnace board told me that if I knew chords, in ten minutes he could teach me enough to begin playing 2 hour devotional worship sets using some of the songs which I had begun composing after 3 friends prayed for me in February 2004 to begin "hearing" worship songs God wanted released on earth. I believe as this man graciously passed some of his anointing from God to do music onto me when he gave me the promised lesson. I began to hear the notes in my head I should play next. I obeyed to step out in faith and commit to playing and singing, worshipping God for the devotional worship sets at the Prayer Furnace and at St. Joan's. The result is this CD - that we might join from earth with the worship of God ongoing in heaven.

The Lord and I have an agreement. I will sit and obediently play, though I don't believe I know what one ought to know to do this well....in return I have asked Him to touch each of you with His Spirit in a way which draws you closer to Him and takes you deeper. He knows what you have asked him for in terms of your relationship with Him. I adore Him because I love Him and trust He will give you that which you seek.
