Based out of St. Martinville, Louisiana, Frazzling Derelicts are a no holds barred rock-country group founded by Matt Catt, Dan Jack, and Casey Poche in early 2012. FD is an original band with influences such as Drive-By-Truckers, Neil Young, Ryan Bingham, Lucero, Son Volt, Wilco, Grateful Dead, Jason Isbell, Hayes Carl and many more.
FD’s debut album, “… and God Bless the USA”, has been recorded and is set to be released in late summer of 2013. “ … and God Bless the USA” is fourteen tracks telling twisted tales of the American dream’s ruffled under belly. “… and God Bless the USA” was recorded in June of 2012 at the historic Teche Theater in St. Martinville, Louisiana. It features some of the area’s seasoned musicians such as Richard Comeaux on pedal steel, Marshall Cyr on trumpet and Sal Melancon on backing vocals.
