Godwin Louis; Leo Genovese; Damion Corideo; Willy Rodriguuez. "Folklorico is a beautiful musical journey into melodic sound explorations which transports one into a dreamlike state". John k. Lockwood - "The ancestral spirits are calling us". Randy Weston

Notes

This Album is a musical journey which bring the listener to meet different cultures and music from around the world: passing from "Shardana"'s Turkish atmosphere to the African Rhythms of "La Grande Madre" and the colors of Leo Genovese's Argentinian Chacarera "Pa Abalos y Messiaen" without forgetting about the sounds of our century the past ones.
Among this ones we can find "Dannie Richmond - Raw" an "acid" swing which transforms itself in a kind of an odd Drum&Bass grove at the end of the first solo.
"On a sentimental" journey is sweet and melodious ballad which hides a very intricate and ingenious dodecaphonic/symmetric structure.
The last tune of the album is the result of the collaboration between Francesco and Jeremy Loucas: the tune was produce like a well balanced soup using the not used tracks form the session - voices, noises, solos, etc - as ingredients to cook a very characteristic grove from which the name "Ribollita" - like a famous Tuscan soup.
The Album was recorded at Sear Sound Studios in NYC on January 8th 2013; MIxed and Mastered by Jeremy Loucas at Highend Studio on May and June 2013; The Design and the Artwork are by Fotis Politis - February 2014.
