Description

We are an instrumental band from Portland Oregon with nothing to lose or gain. And this is our instrumental concept album...HUMANDATORY GENOCIDE

Notes

We began writing quirky little tunes fifteen years ago fueled by intoxication and inspired by the boredom of waiting for our singer to return from his constant five month trips to Mexico. The spark that started it all was when Erik started playing this weird song on guitar that he called Robot March. Wendell started playing a cadence on the snare drum and Bill threw in a lil' bass and before we knew it we had our first instrumental song. Something just felt right, so we decided to continue trying to write music for ourselves instead of rehearsing songs without our singer.

One night in a stinkin' drunk stupor we turned on the analog 8 track recorder, that had been left at the house months before by some friends, and recorded what would eventually become known as the ROCK OPERA. A twenty plus minute jam of improv insanity. Some of it, nay, most of it was pure crap....but there were some gems in there too. We took those gems and started piecing them together into parts. The parts inspired other parts and before we knew it we had songs. It was from those songs that the idea of an instrumental concept album was born.

It would be five years later before the recording would begin. In that time our band Millet had broken up and we had formed a new band, SK and the Punk Ass Bitches, with singer Scott Kellog which was our main focus. That band broke up three years into the recording session and it was then that we decided no more singers. Fruit of the Legion of Loom would finally get all the attention!

TEN YEARS! That's how long it took to complete this album. Wrinkles and grey hair are starting to show and it seems like just yesterday that we were what one might consider young and cool. But that's ok. Because in the end we completed what will now be considered the greatest instrumental concept album of all time! Earth, humans and all other living things prepare yourself... for your conquerers hath cometh.....WE BRING HUMANDATORY GENOCIDE!!!!
