Description
This trio from the north has no determined sound, they like to characterise their music as a fusion between jazz, blues, progressive rock and funk. They present you sounds that are calm and relaxed, while the next track might be exactly the opposite.
Notes
Fuggels music is somewhat hard to describe by one genre. Fuggel started as a project where we had no intentions of playing one specific genre or to present a specific idea. We just wanted play music, and we decided not to lock ourself down in one type of genre - but rather make music we found cool and enjoyable. We like to say if it sounds good, it's good.
This approach ultimately resulted in a full length album consisting of music we decided to label as funk/jazz/blues/progressive rock/pop/fusion. The music is a mixture of strictly arranged compositions and, of course, longer stretches of improvisation, solos and jamming.
If this description of Fuggels music might seem a little unclear, the best solution will be to buy the album «Birds» and hear for yourself. Enjoy!
