Description
Welcoming back founder member Dave Thornley, the mood remains the same, inner contemplation, outer spatial horizons and the lament to the passage of time. Containing something old, something new, homage borrowed and a nod to the blues.
Notes
And so they return - still on their quest to outrun the sun, ten years hence - the psychedelic heroes return.
The decade long hiatus has seen one man down (missing in action) replaced with a new face to you - but an old hand to the band.
Ten years forward and nigh on twenty years back, as our merry band of troubadors reconvene in the original line-up; welcoming Dave Thornley back into the fold.
The names may change but the mood remains the same, inner contemplation, outer spatial horizons and lament at the passage of time and our fleeting chance to grasp the time we're given.
Containing something old, something new, homage borrowed and a nod to the blues - this suite of songs feels like the progress of a crew taking wisdom in age.
Do not adjust your head - merely set the controls, dial down the outside world and settle down to soak up the music, safe in the knowledge that the sun will always shine on you.
