Description
11 Musical Adventures spanning Majestic Rock from the top of Mt. Everest to a Chicago Blues club by way of a Zydeco Dance Floor in the French Quarter of New Orleans, if the plane doesn't crash in the Bermuda Triangle.
Notes
Gus Kenneth wrote 10 songs and adapted another for his first solo CD release: Voices in the Field. The album opens with a swirl of wind which takes you straight to the cinematic rock of Camp IV on the side of Mt. Everest. From there we drop straight into the depths of introspection in Can't Be Me. Echoes of Jimmy Page ring out in Shades of Green. What would you call this? "A moment of hope," says Gus. Flight 19 screams past on her doomed mission... Our journey picks back up with the brooding and powerful Where to Go followed by the revival of the indomitable human spirit under Ominous Skies. Where can you you fall next? In Love. In New Orleans. in French.. After Love, the horny blues of Messing With the Wind. Then out to the field to finally hear what you needed to know. The last stop is right in the middle of an Eerie nightmare. The last we see of our hero he's talking to a spice rack.
