Specify is a 2 piece alternative rock & electronic powerhouse hailing from Brisbane, Australia.
Fusing hard-edged live instrumentation with melodic danceable electronica, Ace Matters (lead vocals, guitar) and Stephen Birt (drums, backing vocals) exploit both man and machine to create music that is powerful, unique and catchy. Influenced by the Dub Step and Trap Music genre, they gently fuse these styles, to create a unique amalgamation that is Specify.
Currently, Specify has just completed production of their debut EP titled “Democrasi”. All music and lyrics were composed and written by Ace Matters, with Stephen Birt applying his vast, extensive experience and skill-set to the percussion and structural arrangement of the tracks.
