Description

Providing a mix-mash of trip hop, heavy bass and drum, dubstep, and trap beats and music for your listening pleasure!

Notes

Matt Hubbard (a.k.a. Grus) takes his first venture into the gritty and intense "underground" of electronic, DJ-focused music. Inspired by many greats in today’s music scene, Matt combines multiple elements and styles that bring a unique presence and approach to the production of his music. His traps, beats, melodies, drops, and delays put his listeners into deep trance thoughts and altered states of daydreaming.

What also makes Matt’s music unique is the multiple genre’s it crosses – his music consists of essentials from drum and bass, dub step, trip hop, electronica, and many others. This uniqueness keeps his listeners captivated, engaged, and wanting more.

While the album title and track – “In My Head” – may seem to come from Matt’s own mind, it’s more about what people everywhere think and feel in their own minds – you now have a song and beat to put those thoughts to…
About some of the songs:
- “Subterranean” kicks off the album with an intense melodic tune that makes you want to dance, run, jump and roll.
- “Boogie Man” goes deep into the psychosis, attacks (or even awakens) our fears, and puts us smack in the middle of a running horror movie.
- “Chaotic Dreams” puts a tempo to those dreams you wish would never end and those you hope you wake from sooner than later.

The name “Grus” is Latin for “Crane” which is a symbolic image from one of his favorite movies.

As noted earlier, this is Matt’s first venture into the world of music production. He hopes to get early notoriety and interest in this first work to inspire new projects already underway. Additionally, Matt hopes that his music not only opens new doors in the music industry, but also sparks interest in other music media opportunities such as commercials, movies, and TV.
