Notes
ground zero system emerged on the Norwegian metal scene with the release of their debut EP, Newropa EP in 2006.
In 2008 the debut full length album ‘Molotov’ was released on FaceFront records. Both EP and album saw good reviews from national and international press and the band performed live on several stages including the prestigious Inferno festival in Oslo.
After this the band decided to take some time off to focus on songwriting and producing a worthy follow-up to ‘Molotov’.
The lengthy recording process saw the employment of ex-meshuggah bassist Peter Nordin on session bass.
As before the drums where tracked at DUB studio with producer Endre Kirkesola.
The new ground zero system album ‘Counterculture’ is set to be released late 2011.
