Classic acoustic roots rock and roll with arrangements ranging from heart felt ballads to blistering guitar riff jams. This album is a great ride from start to finish.

"Songs From The Second Sessions" is the second album from Singer/Songwriter Glen Trujillo and Producer/Arranger Rich Wenzel. This recording marks the continuation of a collaboration that began over 25 years ago when "Harry, The Story Of A Wayward Stranger" was recorded.
Taking 10 months to record, this album is a well balanced, eclectic collection of music that is sequenced to take the listener through an emotional journey from start to finish.
Laid out in three sections, the first four songs are up beat tunes with slide guitars, mandolins, accordion, a tinge of a country/western flair, good time vibes. The next four songs get into the harder, Classic rock, guitar riff heavy stuff. The last four songs are softer, acoustic ballads with an emotional tone that demonstrates a serious songwriting style.
The musicians featured on this recording are:
Rich Wenzel: Sequencing and Drum Programs, Hammond Organ, Wurlitzer Electric Piano, Accordion, Background Vocals
Mark Shark: Guitars, Acoustic, Lead, Slide, Resonator on tracks 1-4 and 10-12
John Hunt: Electric Guitars and Lead on track 5-8
Gordon Peeke: Drums and Percussion on tracks 8, 11 and 12
Todd Robinson on Electric Guitar on track 7
Glen Trujillo: Vocals, 6 and 12 String Acoustic Rhythm Guitar
