Description
Mystical Awakenings an album of both instrumental and vocal songs.
Notes
I wrote these eight songs during the decades in my studies of the
Rosicrucian teachings.
The Path - helped define the spiritual goals I wanted from the studies. I imagined
a long lonely path. Each side of the path was covered with bushes from which I
could pick the fruits of knowledge according to my hunger.
You’re Not Alone - this song was inspired by the Spiritual Masters of the Universe.
Miles To Go Before I Sleep – the study of Mysticism is a lifelong endeavor. Robert
Frost’s poem, “Stopping By The Woods on a Snowy Evening” gave rise to the writing
of this music.
Simple Little Dreams – is about the clarity that came from the Rosicrucian teachings.
Spring Equinox – the hours of the Equinox are a great transitional period in the time of our life’s cycle. Like the turning of an hourglass.
God Of My Heart – this is not a religious song; it’s a self acknowledgement of an
imperceptible, but logical, higher power.
Tribulations Dismissed – I leave the meaning of this song to you.
Dreams of Ramara – this song culminates most all I’ve learned from the Rosicrucian
teachings, and so I consider it my masterpiece.
