O.C.A.M (Only Care About Me) [feat. Goldenboy]

As G. Finale embarks on an exciting new chapter of his career with the much anticipated release of O.C.A.M (Only Care About Me) , his newest single, it is readily apparent that he’s not your typical rapper as legendary hip hop artist Kurtis Blow noticed at G. Finale’s featured performance at Rip the Stage 2012 in New York City. Mr. Blow approached G. Finale with great
excitement and said, “You got it! I haven’t seen someone who possesses that star power in a long time.”
The last 9 months have been a grueling yet satisfying process at the studio where G. Finale has completed his most
personal project to date. “I decided to take the last 12 months of my life and focus on putting out a body of work
that I was truly proud of by sticking to what made me love hip hop in the first place, which was the storytelling,
skilled entendres and conceptually well written songs based on reality,” he says, “The EP’s artwork was more of a
visual metaphor than anything else. The hands are held in position to shape a heart solidifying the meaning of an
industry that at one time didn't care about G. Finale but is now witnessing his birth and has fallen in love with him.
I believe that the Unborn Me EP will shock the hip hop world by coming out feet first. That perception and feeling
is what made me decide on the final artwork.”
In his relentless quest to find better songs, deliver a better performance and create a more entertaining show, G.
Finale delivered a full blown performance with dancers and projected video imagery at the Rip the Stage 2012
artist showcase. During his performance the entire crowd watched on their feet as he impressed fellow performers
and invited V.I.P. guests. Performance dates are currently in the works for the summer and fall of 2014. “My music
is MY CHILD! With keen perception of how I view the world I write from the heart. By doing so I have come up with
music that speaks to the soul of the struggle and the once forgotten individual who strives to become the most
remembered.”
G. Finale has amassed a number of projects where he was the featured artist at events such as Rip the Stage 2012,
Carnival Choreographers Ball 2012 and the Hot 97 Bronx Knows concert for HIV Testing where he opened for Lloyd
Banks. His music video ‘I’m Cocky’ from his last album was featured on This is 50.com and Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes.
In February of 2014, G. Finale achieved yet another milestone in his career when he performed as an invited guest
for the 23rd Annual Taste of the NFL “Party with a Purpose” benefit in Brooklyn, New York. He got the opportunity
to perform with one of his favorite Grammy Award winning artists, Common. Finale’s confidence was elevated
once again after hearing Common say “You got it, keep it up.”
G. Finale has gained the attention of G-Unit Promotions, several record labels and most recently MTV, where he is
