Description

Sonny King writes country and bluegrass music that will have you listening again and again. Chris LeDoux wanted to record the title song but his contract was bought by another label and they only wanted fast songs. So he was unable to record the song.

Notes

Sonny King started singing on live radio at the age of 9. By the age of 12 he was teaching guitar at St. Judes ranch for children in Boulder City, Nevada. At the age of 14 he was paying his dues in Night Clubs fronting his own band. He has opened shows for Mel McDaniels, Martin Delray, Chris LeDoux, Lionel Richie, Maroon 5, Earth Wind and Fire and 3 Dog Night, to name a few. Played with Bobby Bare, Hank Thompson, and The Drifters as a sideman musician. He taught himself to play several instruments including guitar, bass, harmonica, mandolin, banjo, steel guitar, ukulele, piano and drums. He has done Radio, Theatre, TV, and live performances. Writing Country, Traditional Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, Country/Rock, Pop, Rock and Blues songs along the way. As well as radio jingles and TV infomercial songs. He has played just about every state in the lower 48 including Tennessee at Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville. His love and knowledge of Country music which he was raised on shows in his writing and performance.
