On their first CD 'A Christmas Slide' the German trombone quintet Slide-O-Five gives new shine to old Christmas classics. The homogeneous sound of the quintet is mellow and full-bodied. The five musicians play vocally, with a true sense of style and immaculate intonation.The CD comprises of German and international Christmas music in old, modern and partly even swing adaptations. When compiling the CD Slide-O-Five made a point of creating a spectrum both exquisite and wide. The arrangements are perfectly matched to the instrumentation so that the full, warm sound of the five trombones is shown to best advantage. The CD is an audiopleasure and very likely to enhance the beauty of many a (pre-)Christmassy hour!

Auf seiner Erstlings-CD "A Christmas Slide" lässt das deutsche Posaunenquintett Slide-O-Five alte Weihnachtsklassiker in neuem Glanz erstrahlen. Der homogene Klang des Quintettes ist weich und vollmundig. Die fünf Musiker spielen gesanglich, stilsicher und mit blitzsauberer Intonation. Die CD enthält deutsche und internationale Weihnachtsmusik in alten, modernen und teils auch swingigen Bearbeitungen.
