Notes
Concert Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer performs cutting edge original music combining world, progressive rock, & contemporary classical styles of music with his 6-piece rock orchestra. Classically trained at 5 years old, Meyer debuted with the Philadelphia Orchestra at age 11, and subsequently has soloed with international symphony orchestras including The Oregon Symphony and The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra in Thailand. Aaron has performed with the band Pink Martini, Smokey Robinson, and Everclear.
Aaron travels the world performing and conducting his music education workshops and master classes. He has several albums including, “Two Sides to this Story”, which he recorded 6 songs with band and full orchestra in Oregon’s première recording studio, Kung Fu Bakery Recording, in Portland.
Aaron resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife Renee Meyer and their dogs Bootsie, Bernice and Tierney. When he's not performing, he teaches private lessons, composes original music, and conducts music education programs in elementary and middle schools around the region. A passionate advocate of the value of music education, he actively supports opportunities to further arts education in our schools and communities.
