Description

Weavings of earthen beats and multi-instrumentals, reminiscent of travels and voyages and the meeting place of the diverse experiences that occurred in the bringing together of the duo.

Notes

From trance to dance, rock to breakbeat, techno to world, silvermouse takes dance music to a new level. Part of the new wave of “Live Electronica” that is sweeping dancefloors across the country, silvermouse has a unique sound that is hard to find in modern music.

Electronic Musician Amaani uses her laptop to create beats, bass lines, and pads in real time and mixes it all up live in concert. Raised in the London club scene, Amaani has taken years of being immersed in UK Electronica and twisted it into her own unique sound.

Multi-Instrumentalist Wyatt James brings his instrumental skills to the project moving from traditional picking to wildly distorted soundscapes. Bending and weaving with the beats and bass lines are melodies on guitar, violin, flute, and mandolin. Coming from a composing background Wyatt’s music has been called “Haunting” by the New York Times and “Inspired and Moving” by ABC Spain.

Together, Amaani and Wyatt form a killer electronic dance duo that wonder from tight arrangements to flying improvisations over the course of a night. They are currently available for booking in the US from January until March and the UK from July until September.

“Anyone who likes to dance should make a trip and check them out”
