Seth Talley’s sophomore EP is a melodic story bursting with love, loss and hope. The string-filled instrumentation beautifully compliments Talley’s soft and sincere vocal in songs such as “Restless,” “Hard on Me,” & “The Moment.” It is also easy to hear the Americana influences of Tom Petty and Jacob Dylan in “Back Home to Me” and “Scared to Miss.” Talley’s “Ready to Live Again” is a poignant selection of songs that not only tells a great story but rewinds to a time when lyrics were laced with poetry and heart.
