Notes
There was a time before Pro-Tools and Auto-Tune when musicians would go in a studio and record their abilty to perform. Some refer to that as "old school", which describes this album. The songs are all performed, not synthisized. Pitch correction, auto-harmonization and beat detective were not used. There's no digital timing "adjustments" to the drum tracks. There is no pitch correction on the vocal tracks. All of the tracks on the album are exactly "as performed". As artists we believe that technology at best makes musicians lazy and at worst is able to create a false image of talent.
Our song lyrics all have a positve theme. Music should communicate thoughts and ideas that are socially relevant. Some songs remain socially relevant for many years. We have done our best to deliver to the listener entertaining yet thought provoking concepts. Songs such as "Build the Machine" discuss how our technology could create an energy-to-mass converter. This kind of machine concept was introduced through science fiction shows like "Star Trek". But what if they actually exsisted? How would we deal with it as a society?
We sincerely hope you enjoy our presentation and listen to the words and think about things other than the next day!
