Notes
The “Preproduction EP” is what the record was known as when it was taking form during sessions in East Austin at a little recording studio called Eastern Sun. These sessions documented the first professional recordings ever released by the musician that has been playing all over Texas for more than 10 years. Recorded, prior to meeting the members his band, who he credits for being his “saving grace”, Scott set out on his own course with long time friend and artist Brian Hunter to record 5 works. These songs would come to be known later as “Fly to the Sun”. With Matt Simon as Producer and on percussion, Brian Hunter on Bass, and Scott on Guitars and vocals, “Fly to the Sun” Respectively also titled “The Eastern Sun Sessions” chronicles 3 years of writing distilled in to five intricate and imitate songs displaced of the “rock” arrangements and stripped down to their bare essentials.
