Price of Fame

Throughout my entire life, I have always loved Music! It took the unbelievable Talent and Passion of a young musician to Inspire me to write this Album. This inspiration came from a gifted Musician who passed away well before his time. His name was Pat Tiernan and he came out to Florida with me to help me promote an event I was co-hosting at an Arena in Kissimmee. He brought his acoustic guitar with him on the trip, and in our down time Pat would bring his guitar down to the crowded pool at the resort we were staying at, and Entertain the crowd. It was Enlightening to see all of the people that he attracted with his music as he played and sang with such a PASSION I will never forget it. On the night of the event I was promoting at the Arena, Pat preceded the Main Event with a song he Wrote and Performed, and stole the show before it even started. The crowd loved him and he received a standing ovation. That night I made a decision that I was going to pursue a career in music and do whatever I could to help Pat bring his Musical Talent to the World.
I purchased a 24 Track TASCAM portable Studio, and Pat and I began working together on some songs in my living room back in Upstate NY. We recorded about five incomplete songs together as an acoustic version and were planning to have these songs finished with a full array of instruments. The project moved along slowly, as we were both still having to provide ourselves with a source of income outside of music, and Time continued to Move On. Unexpectedly, before we could accomplish our goals, Pat passed away.
As Time kept Moving On, I continued to write songs and as soon as I had the money to produce an Album I decided to take my music to a professional studio. Still with a strong desire to have Pat's music shared with the rest of the world, I decided to finish two of the songs Pat and I recorded together in my living room. They are featured on SCASH's debut Album Time Moves On and are song number 2 - Better Off Without You , and song number 3 - Just Feels Right. I am grateful for having the experience of knowing Pat, and feel honored to have him be a part of this album. I know his Soul is Shining down on us every day, and his image is featured on the back cover of the album, as well as on the inside jacket. I want him to know that I strive to play my music with the same Passion that I once watched radiate from him.
To all of the music lovers and musicians out there, I urge all of you to set your goals and pursue your Dreams while your
still here!!! Because.......... TIME MOVES ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
