While living in a meditation ashram, and travelling with our beloved Swami Muktnanda (Baba) for 5 years, my sister Rama and I wrote songs of devotion and put them on this album. May these songs touch your heart and uplift your spirit!
Notes
My sister Rama and I lived in a Siddha Yoga meditation ashram with Swami Muktananda for 5 years, and travelled throughout the United States and India from 1979 through 1983. We created these songs out of devotion to our beloved teacher, Baba, who left his body (took Mahasamadhi) on October 2, 1982. There is nothing to compare to the physical form of the Guru - and we miss him greatly. But he continues to live through his teachings and his successor, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. Rama and I had the privilege of singing several times for Baba in the ashram, and it was especially sweet to remember how ecstatic he became when he joined us on Lord Show Me Your Face by playing his Cymbals and his Tambourine. We will always be grateful for his blessings and grace in our lives.
