Cowboys and Angels was recorded by Martin Thomas in Telluride, Colorado, in a small shoe box of a room he called a studio. Guests include Scott Harlow, Charley Mertins, Jeff Haldeman, Will Martin, Micheal Scherr, Greg Overton, and Callendale. "I like my music real and close to the soul.
